random notes

I was on holiday in Finland. We went there during the Athletics World Championchips, so after ariving in Helsinki we hired a car and went right on to the west. After touring to Pori and Tampere we finished our trip in Helsinki. If you have seen some broadcasts from Helsinki, you might have noticed, that it rained a lot, but it was a relaxing holiday nevertheless - thanks to Spa Hotels and Sauna visits :)

Back home, work awaited and I was right back into the business about 3 hours on the first monday.

My car is keeping me busy, too. It got the TÜV-check renewed and now I can start to sell it.

The last days, of course, I watched/read lots of news about the impact and aftermath of the hurrican. I am somewhat confused, that men steal from and threaten each other instead of working together. I hope the people of New Orleans and other affected areas will get their normal lives back after all this is over.

Now I look forward to germans elections and the meeting of the two top candidates on Sunday evening…
