I got, what I wanted. The comic adaption of 300 actually does show the comic almost frame by frame. And if you think, the film is way to gross, have a look at the book… The movie even tries to justify some of the Spartans' brutal actions, but the comic does not.

I would name the movie's style 'aesthetic gore'. And it will end up within my dvd collection.
