Short Denmark Log

27.12 After driving for about eight hours we arrived in Denmark at our holiday-home. Being eight persons the four bedrooms where divided up. I got a small one, but its for sleeping only anyway ;) The house is equipped with a swimming pool and a sauna. So no real need to go outside (currently rainy). Two friends already had been around the house before we arrived and prepared everything, so we could finally eat dinner (rice and meat and peppers). Due to the stressed driving, we pretty soon got tired and went to sleep.

28.12 I woke up early and after breakfast I joined for a dog-walk. We met a forest warden who warned us to walk trought the forrest because of the hunting season. Looks like this will be some quite holiday with lots of rest and relaxing.

29.12 I managed to saw the ocean. And we continued playing the skat card-game. I was tought to play it, but you need to check many things while playing, so I am not quite successfull. I watched 'Bernd-Das Brot' for the first time on Kika :)

30.12 Another thing, we are doing in our time here, is playing the dungeon siege multiplayer game (three people). I set up a wlan router, so we can place ourselves somewhere and start playing. Unfortunatly the game crashed yesterday on the hosting machine, but luckily, the character sets are still ok.

31.12 After final shopping for the evening, we sat together enjoying the usual tv shows (dinner for one...). For dinner fondue was served and at midnight we even could watch quite a few fireworks around. Before we drank Feuerzangenbowle - yummy!

01.01 This day was a slow one and we relaxed. For eating we put together all the left-overs from the previous days. I am getting better in playing skat :)

02.01 We went away this day and visited the 'Denmarks Shark-Center' (http://www.kattegatcentret.dk). Quite interesting - even for a philistine like me :)

03.01 Going home. This was a long car trip back as the 'Elbe-Tunnel' was very crowded with traffic. Already missing holidays…
