<s:content>1 remotunes - iTunes remote controller {anchor:remotunes - iTunes remote controller}
Our [MobileControl] midlet is a simple implementation to allow remote controlling a pc via bluetooth mobile. It uses a bluetooth-com port bridge and utilizes few windows api calls to control the running applications.

Primary it was written to control an audio player remotely and it worked fine for my purposes.

Now I came across {link:remotunes - a free iTunes remote controller for Mac OS X, Windows and Java ME|http://remotunes.rahkomi.com/}. This free toolset has a much better usability compared to our [MobileControl]. It connects via bluetooth or network. It controls iTunes only, but in a perfect way and worked without any problems on my mac and windows machines and the setup is really simple. {link:remotunes|http://remotunes.rahkomi.com/} enables you to browse your iTunes library, play/pause/volume control and even serves cover-art.

</s:content>
