<s:content>1 building an integration system {anchor:building an integration system}
There is lots of information about EAI systems and software tools for them. I am developing and maintaining a 'startup' EAI system doing its first integrational steps (using BEA Weblogic and Tuxedo on SUN Solaris).

The information I did not found on the web, yet, is how to do change/configuration management within an integrational system which is changing almost on a weekly rate. More systems connected and integrated into the application require a solid process and software support for
- managing frequent changes which limit impact on system users
- allow new users with new requests to join
- enable the system to integrate new funtionailty seamlessly
- have the user control access to the integrated backends without really knowing about them

I will try to add and share thoughts about this in [integration tier change management]

1 little css changes {anchor:little css changes}
Yesterday night, I changed the css again a little bit, to break the formal look of the site. It now adds some diversion by having a logo-like portion in the right hand upper corner and only a graphical logo an no text on the left side. I use the opacity filter within the new portion, which is not renedered correctly on some browsers, but main mozilla and ie work, so it's enough for my needs and other browsers should not be influenced in functionality by it.</s:content>
