December

Dancing Gold We had our Gold-Test in Dancing and got the Diploma and a very very good review! Dancing is still a lot of fun.

riding cold The Outrides in the evenings are quite dark at the moment, but I bought myself very good equipment with two flashlight to attach to my legs and several reflecting things for me and the horse, so we are a very bright spot in the nightly forest ;) I also had to put out the winter stuff, warm gloves, very warm socks and my thermo-boots. It is still cold at the fingers and feet and especially in the face, extremly while going fast.

November

going out Still spending a lot of time in the office, preparing a new release of our software but at the same time nearly every evening going out.. So, there was no time for TV or Internet..

work work work Spending most of the time in the office this month.. and we got some co-workers over from Frankfurt but it is still a tight schedule.

reactivating hobbys Although we have so much to do I decided that I have to restart some of my hobbys. (At least to do something else than working) The first one was horseriding, it did start automatically when the horse returned from its vacation in the mountains. I also wanted to go on with dancing, so I looked on the website for the next gold course and it was just about to start in a couple of days .. I registered and allready went to two dancing lessons right now.

September

Still on Vacation Together with 3 friends I was driving around from sight to sight in a mobile home (RV).

When I returned in the middle of September I first had a lot of good news waiting for (got some money from different origins) , but then the work got back to me with full power - to much to do, to little time, to few people. And it got worse during the holiday - one of our colleagues was sent to another project and we got more change requests …

August

when you are going.. ..to San Francisco! I have been on vacation from middle of August to middle of September. So in August I was first busy planning everything for the holidays and then I was travelling around the western part of North America (Utah, Nevada, California and Arizona) visiting many National Parks.

July

moved.. Its done now, all my stuffed finally in one appartment again. Now I have to unpack it and find the right place to put everything. I like my new appartment and really enjoy it

lazy days Two of my regular activitys are on a break right now, the horses are having holidays in the mountains on the Alp Stoss and we skipped the next dancing course in our dancing school because I am going on vacation for four weeks in August/September.

moving.. Stress … at work and to top it also moving from two other appartments (one in Germany and one in Switzerland) to a new one. So you could say that I am moving together with myself ;o)

silver dance diploma We finished our silver dancing course with a little test and got our diploma in silver in our dancing school Danceorama

Vacation!! What a good start for a month to be on vacation! On May 1st I catched a plane to Chicago from where I immediatly went on to Minneapolis, where I spend two days enjoying the sights and do some shopping. I went on to Billings after that to spend a week on a ranch in Montana doing some horseback riding and cattle driving - just like in City Slickers. It was great fun and I meet some very nice people there although the weather was terrible wet and cold. (Rain, Hail and Snow) But it was a great experience and now I know real Cowboy Life.

still too much work the situation at work is just a little bit better than before, but it looks like in the second half of the year we might not have enough to do for everybody

dancing bronce diploma we just finished our bronce dancing course and had a little test in the end. we passed and got a diploma.

party again My second birthday party in Moerfelden was really good, many people showed up and it was quite nice too see them all again.

skiing Did some more skiing during March in ski areas I havent visited before. Some of them very quite beautiful!

way too much work March was very very stressful at work, we have too much work, too few people and very tight time budgets :-(

Fasnacht It was Fasnacht in Switzerland but I didnt had enough time to go to all interesting events. I just had a short visit on the Bärebefreiig in Berne and one parade in Basel.

February

planning hoildays I have booked a week on a working cattle ranch in Montana for a holiday on horseback in May. There will be a cattle drive then and I am quite excited to go there.

busy a lot of work to do during February, with a study we had to do, some problems with the main frame computer and other stuff

birthday on February 21st it was my birthday and I had a partyhere in Berne with the colleagues from work

snow there were heaps of snow this month in Switzerland, had some very nice outrides through the deep snow - its wonderful when everything is covered in white. and also did some sledding and some skiing.

physiotherapy I realized a problem with my left shoulder, it makes crackling noises and it hurts sometimes , I went to the doctor, he says its just the muscles are overworked, so I go to physiotherapie regulary now.
